• Display

Samsung Galaxy S8 features 5.5" 4K UHD Display with a resolution of 2160 x 3840 having a pixel density of 808 ppi which gives a excellent VR experience.Samsung Galaxy S8 also features a Bio Blue Screen Technology which is suitable for VR viewing and also for blue light filter.Currently,Phones can reduce blue light to 32% only.But,Bio Blue screen takes down the blue light to 6%.

• Performance

Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with Snapdragon 830 SoC or Exynos 9 Chipset and packs 6GB of DRAM(Samsung variant of LPDDR4 RAM).Most sources say that the device will be shipped with snapdragon 830.Snapdragon 830 will use ARM cores instead of custom cores.Snapdragon 830 is to be manufactured with 10nm process.The Snapdragon 830 contains eight cores in which four cores are high power performance cores and another four cores are power effiency cores.The Snapdragon 830 will be overclocked to 3 Ghz or 3.2 Ghz.Sanapdragon 830 is built with its native Qualcomm X16 modem which supports 4G LTE Cat 16(1 GBPS Download speed/500 MBPS Upload Speed).Qualcomm latest chipsets also have support for 24 bit Qualcomm Hi-Fi Audio which is integrated with Dolby Audio.So,Snapdragon 830 is expected to have excellent audio support.

The device is said to be featured with dual camera.But,the device will have 32MP Rear Camera(or may be lower as 16MP to 20MP) and 12MP Front Camera(8MP to 13MP).Samsung will use its native ISOCELL as its camera sensor.Samsung ISOCELL has much better quality than Sony IMX CMOS sensors.However,the device has OIS(Optical Image Stabilisation) and PDAF(Phase Detection Auto Focus).

• Storage

Galaxy S8 may come in two or three variants:64GB and 128GB(or lower variant 32GB).The device uses UFS2.0 as its onboard storage medium instead of eMMC 5 for better performance and power efficiency.S8 may have dual external slots which gives users to expand the storage upto 256GB.
