OnePlus 3 Is it worthy?

OnePlus 3 ships with High end Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and packs with 6GB LPDDR4 RAM.The specifications of this device looks amazing at the lower price. This device also has flagship features like NFC and 0.3s faster fingerprint sensor. The display of the OnePlus 3 is very good as it uses AMOLED display which is widely used by Samsung.

PROS:

  • Fingerprint sensor is faster and accurate
  • NFC embedded in chipset so native Support for Android Pay is available.
  • Faster Camera Launch
  • Supports Dash Charging(Rebranded version of Oppo VOOC Flash charging). So,only 60 minutes of charging.
CONS:

  • Only 3000mAh battery which lasts a day.But it is some what lesser for 5.5" 1080p display and Snapdragon 820.
  • Though the device has 6GB of RAM.It is limited for power efficiency. So,we can't take control on the full potential of the RAM for high end performance.
  • Oxygen OS has some performance issues which makes the device laggy. An update will fix this issue.
  • No external storage.
This device will have better battery life because the performance level is limited. This device mainly focus on battery life but not on performance. However,it balances well between better battery life and performance. It is worthy for the price.

Microsoft and Intel Collaborating on a project STAMINA

Microsoft Threat Protection Intelligence and Intel Labs are collaborating for a project named STAMINA. STAMINA: Static Malware As Image Network Analysis is a technique based on Deep Learning. What is Project STAMINA? STAMINA focus on detecting malware using deep learning techniques. It converts the malicious code into 2 dimensional images. Then the images can be used to analyze the characteristics of malware and classifies according to their types. Steps in STAMINA Source: Microsoft The 2D images are fed into the deep neural network which is trained with 60% of the known malware samples. The DNN scans and identify the image as clean or infected. This Image based technique achieves 99.07% of accuracy. Pixel File Sizes for different Image Widths Source: Microsoft and Intel
