Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Updated Specs

Samsung galaxy note 7 runs on New TouchWiz UX based on Android 6.0 Marshmallows.The device packs with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and Snapdragon 823 or Exynos 8893 chipset.Most sounds like Exynos 8893 to be featured in the device.The device is manufactured by 14nm FinFET process as same as Exynos 8890.Exynos 8893 uses 4 cores of Cortex A53 clocked at 1.6GHz which are the low power cores and 4 cores of Custom Exynos M1 clocked at 2.8GHz or 2.9GHz which are the performance cores.The device sports 5.7" QHD Screen and features 12MP rear camera with PDAF and 9 MP rear camera.The phone was said to be using 4,000mAh.But,now the latest unofficial specs says the phone will have 3,600mAh which is 20% greater than Samsung Galaxy Note 5.This appears to be disappointing.We have to wait for the official specs to decide the phone is worthy on battery life.

OnePlus is a very popular China based OEM which made its debut into the smartphone market with the OnePlus One.The company had a great success.Then,OnePlus 2 released last year with the company's home made Oxygen OS(Customized Variant of Android) and packed 4GB of RAM.But,the phone failed in having mass market and faced a huge criticism for the lack of Quick Charge,NFC and fingerprint sensor was not much accurate.Then,OnePlus 3 released this year with 6GB RAM and Snapdragon 820 SoC clocked at 2.15 GHz.The phone brought back NFC and it features perfect and faster fingerprint sensor and Dash charging which is able to charge 3000mAh in one hour. Samsung's Exynos 8890 is expected to power up Galaxy Note 7

Samsung galaxy note 7 is said to be using Snapdragon 823.But,currently the phone may ship with its native Exynos 8890 chipset which was used in its latest S line up Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.However, the Exynos SoC performed very well against Snapdragon 820 in terms of performance.Samsung may release Galaxy Note 7 in two variants:One with Snapdragon 823 and Another one with Exynos 8890.

Samsung provides Dual camera setup for Chinese OEMS

Chinese OEMs like Xiaomi,Oppo and OnePlus are very popular.Now,Xiaomi working on a modified version of Mi 5 known as Mi 5S which is about to pack 6GB of RAM and Snapdragon 820/823.This Mi 5S now uses dual camera setup in its rear view.So,Samsung is very fine in developing native dual cameras.Samsung now supplies Dual camera support for Xiaomi and Oppo. Its Predecessor Xiaomi Mi 5 uses Sony IMX CMOS Sensors.Now,interestingly Xiaomi shifts from Sony camera sensors to Samsung camera.So,it looks like the image quality will be excellent with Samsung camera in Mi 5S compared to Sony camera from Mi 5.

Samsung Galaxy S7 edge equals an Intel i7-6700K in performance

We generally use Geekbench 3 to test the performance of a system or a smartphone.Geekbench 3 is one of the best tools offering single core test and multi core test for the chipsets and gives scores based on their performance. Samsung Galaxy S7 which runs on Snapdragon 820 equals intel i7 6700K in single core test.Both the chipset scored 5265 in single core test and in multi core test,Snapdragon 820 scored 16132 and intel i7 6700K scored 19744.In multicore test,snapdragon 820 performs very close to intel i7 6700K. Thus,we can come to conclusion that both the chipsets offering similar performance in single core test and also a good performance in multi core test.

Godless Malware:Working principle behind Malicious coding process revealed

The process of Godless malware revealed from decompiling the source code.One of the Godless malware app is Summer flashlight according to Trend Micro. So,I decompiled the dex file of summer flashlight apk into java files.This app packs with mobo SDK which enables the exploit to root install.The target of this app is done through: 1.FastInstallService.java:This set of code makes the device to install service for root install. 2.PMservice.java:This set of code enables to install the package. 3.ScreenChargeReceiver.java:Alerts the root install service when the screen is turned off. 4.C0925A.java:Alerts the service about root status whether success or failure. After rooting,the service install some unremovable packages without any system privileges.

Godless:A Malware makes android vulnerable

Reports of Trend Micro suggesting that a new type of malware now around for Android devices.These malware family apps are termed as Godless.Android devices are vulnerable to this godless malware. These vulnerability leaves 90% of Android device under malicious problem. So,Basically these malware apps are also found on Google Play which is said to be a safe spot for downloading apps. What godless do? Once the godless malware app is installed into the devixe,it runs as a background service and waits until the device's screen goes off.Once the device screens gets off,these apps uses some various exploits to root the device.After rooting,it corrupts the System coding and damages the device runtime.So,this leads to bricking of device which makes phone impossible to use.These apps are using an exploit file ANDROIDOS_GODLESS.HRX which has malicious code.
